May's Favourites

I actually cannot believe it is June already! Where has the year gone? I thought I'd share with you what I've been loving this month.

Summer Tanning Routine

Im so pale is isn't funny, time most brands lightest foundation shade even then it is hit or miss if then they are sometime just way to dark. I can deal with how pale I am most of the time but when the weather starts to warm up (yes... the meer 2 degrees more that we get) and the sun decides to show its face, I feel I can't be as pasty and decide to Fake Tan. since we have have had some sun I thought I would share with you what I use.

Kat Von D 'Metal Crush' Eye Shadow- Review

During the week in town with Make Erin Over for coffee (Again ;) ), we nipped to the Kat Von D Counter, and seen the 'Metal Crush' Eye Shadows- So we obviously had to swatch them and well we were both so impressed with the pigment and the pay off even when it was swathed with a brush by one of the girl.

Whats going on- Why haven't I posted?

Heyy Guys-

I thought I'd jump on here and let you all know what is going on.

Sorry for Not posting on Friday, my laptop decided not to work at all, I have over the last two day got it some what back to normal by completely resetting it. I have also placed an order for a MacBook that I have been looking at for ages. So this week everything will be back to normal. I can not wait for my MacBook to arrive!

On 20/05/2017- My Instagram for some reason was disabled - every time I try to log in it states 'I've violated Instagram Community guideline' which I have read through and I haven't done anything to violated these. I am doing everything I can to get it back up and running as soon as possible- Of course with my luck it happened the night I hit 1,000 followers :(

Thank you for bearing with me,

What I'm currently using for My Brow's

I always find my Brows so hard I either want then looking tidy and natural or looking bold and very defined. So I thought I would show you what it been loving using for either look I want to go with.

Spring, Summer Lip Edit

During Spring and Summer just for those couple of months I step away(kinda) from my brown toned nudes, I thought i share with you my favourite go to's.

Products I'm currently using to Clear up me Acne Breackouts

I am 1 year 6 months post accutane and my acne has decided to come back, for almost a year I had hardly any spots at all post accutane, Due so some of the side effects of accutane I am going to do everything I can to clear up my skin without going back on accutane. I have been looking it up and it is actually surprisingly common to have to do a second course of Accutane. I thought I'd share what if picked up to try and help with my Acne.

Kat Von D- Shade and Light Eye Palette

Since Dundee Debenhams finally has a Kat Von D counter I thought it was only fitting to share my views on this pallet. Ever since Kat Von D became available in the UK I had my eyes on this pallet, it just seamed the perfect pallet, for me and my love of Matte eye shadow. So after getting Debenhams vouches for Christmas it gave me the perfect excuse to finally buy it.

Spring Make up look

The last week has been so sunny and actually warm for once. I finally felt inspired to change up my make-up a little bit and step away from the cool tone brown smokey eye... I feel like I have been stuck in a little bit of rut with my make up and the moment and I don't change what I do so I have set myself the challenge of once a week pushing myself out my rut and experimenting with my make up more.

Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry shampoo- Review

I was luckily enough to be gifted The Soap & Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo (£3) By MakeErinOver after a failed attempt of finding it in our local Boots. I love dry Shampoo I have long hair that can look shinny and greasy 5 hours after washing it even though its not dirty. So needless to say I use dry shampoo quite a bit a by now I know what I like and what I don't in a dry shampoo.

Colour Pop Collection

I spend a good month or so going back and forward, as to whether or not to place an order with Colour Pop, I had seen all the reviews and swatches everywhere, I had been speaking to a girl in work about make up and Colour pop came up and  at the time they where running the free international shipping and welcome promotion so we ordered together and split the customs charge so it was a little less painful. I have to say I love the products but I'm not sure I can justify the £20 customs charge again.

First thing I got was the Ultra Matte Lip- in Cheap Thrills $6:00, This has become my go to night out lip colour and product, it lasts all night. It also has no smell which I actually appreciate. I would really recommend these if you like long wearing matte lips, my only issue is how dry my lips can be the next day but I am more than happy to put up with that for a lipstick that last through eating, drinking and a night out, I am considering ordering a few more in more everyday colours.

I picked up the Blush- Aphrodisiac $8:00, This soft beige is the perfect colour for me to warm up the edge of my face and when I'm tanned to use as a blush/bronzer in one. At first I was unsure about this as a little goes a long way, but on a big fluffy brush this honestly blends out to perfection. I've even been able to get my mum to use this and she doesn't like any blush or bronzer.

I also pick up three Super Shock eye-shadows, (top to bottom) Bill, Acorn, & Valley Girl $5:00, I love wearing these three together, they have a slight sent of shear butter but nothing over powering. Bill is the perfect mauve, and it blends out like a dream, Acorn is a satin light pinky beige that has a subtle golden sheen- this is my favourite shimmery lid colour. Valley Girl, is a satin off white with a golden shimmer/sheen through it that is the perfect intense inner corner highlight- it also makes the most amazing intense face highlight.

So far I love my colour pop products, and I really do want to try more but I cant face the customs  charge. Do you own anything from colour pop? Do you have any colour pop recommendations?
